Kimberly Schultz

Kimberly Schultz is a 2002 graduate of West Deptford High School. After their girls were born, she and her husband Frank made the decision to move back to West Deptford. Catherine is a third grader and served as Tiny Miss West Deptford 2021 and Abigail is in kindergarten and Tiny Miss West Deptford 2022.  Kim is a 2006 graduate of The College of New Jersey and a 2009 graduate of Drexel Law. She is an attorney employed by the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender and an Adjunct Professor at The College of New Jersey, where she has taught Constitutional Law and Montclair State University where she has taught courses in the Political Science & Law Department. Kim is an active member of the West Deptford community and in her spare time, you can find Kim flagging down Mr. Softee for her kids, on the boardwalk or beach in Wildwood Crest, waiting for her girls to be finished dance class, or hanging out in her parents’ pool (they live in the house she grew up in only a few blocks away).

Kim believes that West Deptford Schools provide an excellent education for their students, especially those students requiring Child Study Team services. Kim and Frank’s youngest child has received the benefit of those services because she has unilateral hearing loss and Kim wants to see all children in the West Deptford School System thrive.  Kim believes that the Board of Education and School District should be transparent when making decisions that impact the lives of the children, parents, and teachers in this district and should consider the opinions of all stakeholders before making such decisions. Likewise, the Board should strive to provide parents, administrators, and teachers with the support they need and deserve.
